The day before

It has been a busy weekend for us. And it has been a very hectic day for my mum. She spent her whole day cleaning up the house till the salon is closed and she cannot do her hair. It's "big day" today (goh dong) so most of the salon close early. Well I found her one, hopefully it's still open after dinner. We are meeting up with our relatives for dinner tonight.

Well, that's about it I guess. Now I just wish for all to be smooth and well. :)

Pampering day

I went to Chakras with mum today. Went for the marine scrub and aromatherapy massage. The place is very nice and I am very happy with the service. The scrub is for 45 minutes (including shower) and massage is for 1 hour. So nice till we both fell asleep .. kekeke.

Damage is RM 130+ per person. Well .... I do feel feel my skin softer and smoother now (spent d, so have to think it's working). Would love to do it again. Niceeeeeeeeeee.

Count down: 7 days

*Phew* 1 more week only, I am getting married. But er .... I am actually married (legally) :P

I did the measurement at Casamia on Saturday. The measurement .... is same. Meaning all my "hardwork" is not effective. Chis! But seriously I think I rather be fat then cutting down meals and have gastric. I have gastric today. Bad stuff. Pray hard won't have gastric on my AD.

Then we went to Imperial China today and finalized things, and have our itinerary drafted out and also the seating arrangement. We feel happy for our great "achievement" today. Hehehe.

What to do?

I find wedding is like exam. Before exam you keep studying and wondering where you have not covered. Tension, stress and keep worrying the questions asked is what you have ter-left out.

I have the same feeling for wedding. What have I left out? What else to do? Why so easy like nothing much to do? Why am I so free?

I guess I will suddenly find out what I have missed 3 days before the wedding? He he he.

Flower boy & Flower girl

All this while I want to have a flower boy and a flower girl for my wedding dinner. Chase and Abby will be the two little angels. However there are issues with the arragement. Firstly they don't know each other. Secondly they are not close to me. And thirdly, Chase is 4 and Abby is only 3. It will not be easy for them to do rehersal also. I think kids that young are not realiable .. he he he.

So I have decided to drop this idea. I will have the zhi-muis to do it instead. Of course they don't throw flower and walk in front of me. They will do it along the aisle. So I have finally solved the issue that has been bothering me for months. It's ideal to have the flower boy/girl but it's not so realistic and I am so worried how it will turn out. *Phew* Relieved to have a second plan.

So zhi-muis, please wear your most sexy dress and stand beside the aisle .. for those of you who come in later than me ... I'll kill you! Hahahaha.

Another gift :D

Had dinner with the ex-oners tonight at Sentul 正 留 香. The dinner is to celebrate my birthday so I get to order all I want :D We had teppan sotong and prawn, kari pari, siong-tong-la-la and fried vege. Oh and we had fried chicken wing as dessert too. Oh I was supposed to be on diet ya? Hmmm but ... but the food there is so nice! Can't resist la.

Then they give me this as birthday cum wedding gift. I love this. Jan Nee is really a practical person so she knows what I want and what I need. I would love to wear this pyjamas on my wedding day for "xiong tou". Thanks Jan Nee, Jeff and Louis! I love this! And thanks for the yummy dinner too. Hmmmmm ... *burp*

Received a gift from UK. Thought it's Mel but Mel is coming back soon so it's not so possible. Har! Then I remember Yee Tyan is also in UK. So the gift is really from Yee Tyan! What a surprise Yee Tyan! I never expected this. Thank you so much, this angel is very cute and it's still in 1 piece :) You wrapped it so nicely, it will be fine lah ^_^ And I hope you will live happily ever after with your honey too. Kekekeke.

36 days away from the wedding

We collected our photo album yesterday. Overall we are very happy with it. The most common comment that we get is that there's too few gowns that I took picture with. Oh well, look at it from the bright side, at least I don't have to scratch my head to choose 50 pictures out of 190+ and adding too many pictures right? ;)

We have also chose the bear to put on our wedding car. This is cute.

Then we have also found and booked a hotel nearby the restaurant to stay for 2 nights after our wedding dinner. We checked out Sheraton Subang today and their service is really good. Btw they have a very nice ball room and they were preparing for a wedding tonight so we get to see how nice it is. Every table there is a small flower arch. Nice!

We wanted to make the reservation after we visited their rooms but according to the reception the internet offer cheaper rate. So we left without making any booking. I always liked Sunway Resorts so we went to check it out after that. First we checked the Pyramid tower and it's expensive, and the service is so so only. Furthermore they have no vacant room for us to visit. So we went home, and made the reservation for Sheraton. Another task checked! Yay!

Another 36 days to go. I counted this today and darling said he's very stress. Apa la, everything in place already somemore stress. I so looking forward to the event ... he he he.

But .. but .. why my kam fei program not working geh? Sad :(

A birthday gift for myself

I finally got my 飞 甩 鸡 毛. This is a birthday gift from me to me. It's a brand that I always like but it's so expensive. So I made a deal with myself, if I achieved certain target then I will go get it. But after I achieved it, then I thought may be I should get the bag from Hong Kong .. or any another brand I see nice over there during my honeymoon.

But ... 飞 甩 鸡 毛 is having sales from 12 - 14 November and the deal is so good! I called up Steph and asked for her advice (for she being the branded expert) and I got her full support. (Bad friend. Advise friend to spend more money) So ... I can't resist it and bought this for myself.



It's my one month salary okay .... :P

But YAY! Am so happy :D

Oh by the way, I applied the eyeliner today. I did a pretty good job but I spent more than 10 minutes for it. Put and remove ... then put again and remove again ... so I was late for my car service. Mun said it looks okay but it's too light. Okay, shall try again on Saturday. Won't be the day when I need to go morning meeting. I don't want to pay RM 5 every morning for being late.

Birthday gift from Anly

This is what Anly gave me for birthday this year. She always gave me something very practical but this year she is giving me this. She said I should be in the mood for this cute pair of toys. Yeah it's sweet and the female one is so cute!!! Thanks! :D



And she made the effort to ask her friend to do this for me in Singapore. It's not a gift, I got to pay her back but I really appreciate she be the middle person to help me with it. I have been looking hard for nice key chains for my new car key and office key. Finally I found it! Thanks Anly!!

My birthday gift for 2008

I will turn 29 at end of this month. It's a little early to receive birthday gift but I am someone who can't wait for things to happen. Hehe. I have actually forgotten about my birthday until darling asked me last week what do I want for my birthday. Oh well, we have been together for almost 7 years so there is nothing like surprise gift anymore. Furthermore I am a very realistic person. Get me something I really need! Hehe.

So, this is what he got me:

Eyelash curler - RM 60
Eyeliner - RM 70
Brush - RM 80 (What? The brush cost more than the eyeliner?)

These are the things that I have been wanting to get, but don't feel like paying so much for it. It's really too expensive and it's only nice-to-have. So I have them now, thanks darling!!! :D It's really perfect gift for me & it's something I really really want :)

The next challenge - how to apply eyeliner? If you see me with super panda eye then you know I still don't get it .. need to practise more. And I will be late for morning meeting everyday ...

Update on classes

So I go classes 2 to 3 times a week now. Not enough .. I know! But .. but .. sometimes my will is so weak and if Jan Nee is not going, lagi weak ...

We joined belly dance classes for 2 times already. It's fun and also tiring. It's not exactly a work out for the whole body but somehow after the class I feel so exhausted. There are "tools" for the belly dance class and I am thinking to buy it. But I am worried I am "hangat hangat tahi ayam" only .. soon I lose the interest then ... he he he. Jan Nee is better in controlling herself. She wants to wait and see.

Ok lah, if I continue to go for belly dance class for another 2 times, I shall buy it! :D

My pre-wedding slimming program

I got a little bit motivated by the Casamia consultant .. so I have decided to do something. Jan Nee and I are going for yoga class once or twice a week. The very first time I joined hot yoga I almost cannot tahan. The second time I got better but still needed to stop and rest. And the third time, I can actually follow without stopping and feeling dizzy. Good progress eh?

It's a very nice and tiring class. Please please let me slim down with all this good workout ...

And I joined fat burn cycling today. It's not as tough as the cycling class I went at Mutiara Clark Hatch. But I haven't been going for long so my stamina is really bad. But I am back now!!!

If anyone of you spotted I curi tulang, feel free to kutuk me. I MUST SLIM DOWN!!

Some updates

It's been so long since I last updated my blog. Oh well ... I am busy ... and lazy :P

Let me think what we have done since the last time I blogged ... we have confirmed our table numbers and have sent our wedding invitation card for printing. Should be able to get it in 2 weeks time so people ... be prepared for the red bomb! Hehehe.

We have also confirmed the design for the pre wedding photos album. We should be getting it by beginning of November.

Lastly, I did gown fitting today :D I get to choose 1 white gown and 2 evening gowns. White gown is hard to choose .. So many nice one so in the end we manage to shortlist to 3. Then we shortlist again to 2. With the comments from mum, darling and my makeup artist, I finalised to a sweet gown but after some thoughts, I changed my mind to take the other one. It's the type that look elegant and very simple. But this is actually my dream gown. I have always dream to wear this kind of gown for my tea ceremony. So I found it ... kekeke. Then kena kutuk .. why initially I chose the sweet one and not my dream gown .. aiyah I thought majority wins mah. :P

The consultant from Casamia told me to keep fit and lose a bit of fats around my waist. Eh I dunno why but I have put on quite a lot on my waist lately. May be I eat too much .. but food is so nice, food is so delicious and I live for food ...

My 5th wedding gift

A supposingly full body spa service .. to make my skin smooth smooth before the ROM day. However it got delayed to the following week, and it turned out to be fish spa at Kenko Reflexiology at MV!

I had fish spa before at China and it's for full body. So this is not so scary for me. But for Gwen and Munnie it's so scary .. hahaha. Check out some pics:

Crazy thought

When I look at my marriage cert last night, I suddenly have a very crazy thought.

I was searching for some words regarding the "terms and condition". I was thinking, when you buy insurance you have a 15 days free look period. When you buy clothes, you can have 3 days to exchange it if you want. Do we have similar thing for marriage? Do we have like 14 days free look period in case you change your mind, you can call it off without having to divorce as it will be considered invalid and you are still single?

Hahahaha I think I am crazy :P

Legally Married

Yes, we are legally married on 15 August 2008 :)

The process was quick. We reached Putrajaya at 10am and the ceremony started at about 1045am and ended at 11am. We took lots of pic and some are funny. Can't wait to see them.

I would like to thank David, our photographer for taking pictures for us. We have not seen his work, but I trust that he did a good job. Thanks to Fanny and Song for going all the way to Putrajaya to witness our registration. Thanks to Mun for making the lovely dress. And lastly, thanks to my mum, my parents-in-law, and Jin Jin for witnessing the ceremony!

My forgotten very first wedding gift

Had dinner with darling's family tonight and when I show Mun my first wedding gift (the bracelet from Mel) I got scolded by Mun :S I memang "mou leong sum". How can I forget that she gave me a pair of color contact lens as my wedding present? Hehehe sorry Mun. And thanks a lot, coz I think the lens do make my eyes look bigger.

Pictures Viewing & Selection

Finally it's 30th July. The day we have been waiting for to view the pre wedding pictures. I couldn't sleep last night ... keep thinking how it will turn out .. kan cheong :S So I guess it's gonna be worse on the eve of AD ..

Anywayz, we reached Casamia at 2pm and we left the place at 730pm. We spent 5 hours there just to choose pictures! But at 330pm we went out yum cha .. hehe relax-nya .. :D

So we are supposed to choose 45 pictures and 5 MV. There were 198 pictures to choose from so the first round we managed to narrow it down to 120 pictures. Then the second round about 80+ and finally ... 54 pictures :D So we are adding 4 pictures. 4 * RM 55 = RM 220.

We are happy with the pictures. It's nice and we look like us but we look good :P I told them not to touch up too much coz I want the pictures to look natural. The CD for original pictures will be ready by this Sunday so I can share a few next week ;)

Apart from the pictures, there are a lot more to choose. Photo frame, guest book, album, DVD, songs, album's background, design and etc etc. So tiring ...

We will only be able to see the design in end Sept. Album will be ready by Nov. Don't know why it takes so long. Think it's a right choice to take pictures early :)

My second wedding gift

I met up with Anly today. Had dinner and went to see her new condo. She really has the designer taste on the items she bought but surprisingly she didn't paint her wall with creative colours. I was actually expecting at least 3 different colours on her wall .. :P

She gave me a wedding gift tonight. Actually she told me to collect it long time ago but I was busy and lazy to go. So here it is ...

My dear friend Anly and ah sa, I don't know why you gals always can't remember my honey's name ... (not like I change every year .. lol) His name is Ooi Teik Siong. But ah sa managed to remember it after about 5 years .. not too bad .. better than Anly :P

Pre Wedding Photos Shooting

We woke up early on Saturday not because our shooting is early. It's because we can't sleep .. haha. We reached Casamia at 11am and the makeup started immediately. The makeup artist Penny acted very pro and asked a lot of questions on my preference on style. So I told her what hairdo I want and she said no problem :D

For the first makeup and hairdo we forgot to take picture using my hp coz once I got ready then they rush us to take indoor photos already .. Nothing much about indoor. It's just some scenes outside the studio (yes at the roadside and darling has to re-park his car otherwise his car will be in the pictures too ..)

But I manage to take some pictures for the outdoor hairdo coz we were lepak-ing at the studio waiting for the photographer Wilson to take his lunch. So this is how we look:

Our outdoor shooting location is at Sepang Bagan Lalang. It's on the way to KLIA then follow the LCCT route then I don't know d .. coz ... coz I fell asleep. (You can actually sleep with the super makeup and hairdo? Yes I can :P)

The place is nicer than I imagined. It has trees, a mini golf course, beach, hut and etc. By the way the weather in the afternoon is very hot. It was drizzling in the morning but lucky weather got well in the noon. Too hot actually. Haha. Eye cannot open :(

The photographer is quite good and he told us how to pose all the time. Look up, look down, chin up, don't blink your eye, hand up, shoulder go right. We just follow his instructions. Don't know our poses look kaku or not? Can't wait to see it.

We waited for the sky to turn dark and then took somemore pictures. By the time we reached SS2 it's already 9pm. So we had dinner at Lorong Seratus with my super makeup and casual wear. Weird ... But I guess they have seen it before coz there are so many bridal studio at SS2 ... surely others do that too .. eh?

Overall the experience is good. We are happy with the shooting and everything turned out well. But their appointment is so full that we can only see and select our pictures on the 30th of July. Can't wait ler ...

Hey almost forgot this joke. While we are doing our makeup, the girl who does the makeup for darling came over and said "EH Whose husband is that???? I said I am going to put lipstick on him and he said OH SHIT! Haiyo!!!" LOL ~~~~ Darling, you look okay with lipstick ... LOL!!

Finally, a comment for Xiao Wen. Yes the silicon bra will fall out if you sweat extremely a lot ...

Preparation for pre-wedding shots

I met up with Mel today. Mel is looking good and kai jai Cameron is looking handsome. I got a barney for Cameron and I hope he won't dump it aside when he is back to UK ... hehe.

I received my very first wedding gift today:

After meeting up with Mel I went to do manicure and pedicure. Goshhhh I stayed at the salon for 2.5 hours. Tiring ~~

The manicure and pedicure cost RM 60. Then RM 15 for the flowers, RM 15 for 21 diamonds, and RM 10 for don't know what volcano oil to scrub my foot ... So total RM 100 for this work:

Frankly I didn't really like it at first. Now seeing it again and again and again, OK lah not too bad. But I really don't like my toenail .. forgot to take picture and now I scratch one of it already. Too busy jaga-ing my fingers and forgot my toes ... Sienzzzz.
