My Third Wedding Gift

Pictures Viewing & Selection

Finally it's 30th July. The day we have been waiting for to view the pre wedding pictures. I couldn't sleep last night ... keep thinking how it will turn out .. kan cheong :S So I guess it's gonna be worse on the eve of AD ..

Anywayz, we reached Casamia at 2pm and we left the place at 730pm. We spent 5 hours there just to choose pictures! But at 330pm we went out yum cha .. hehe relax-nya .. :D

So we are supposed to choose 45 pictures and 5 MV. There were 198 pictures to choose from so the first round we managed to narrow it down to 120 pictures. Then the second round about 80+ and finally ... 54 pictures :D So we are adding 4 pictures. 4 * RM 55 = RM 220.

We are happy with the pictures. It's nice and we look like us but we look good :P I told them not to touch up too much coz I want the pictures to look natural. The CD for original pictures will be ready by this Sunday so I can share a few next week ;)

Apart from the pictures, there are a lot more to choose. Photo frame, guest book, album, DVD, songs, album's background, design and etc etc. So tiring ...

We will only be able to see the design in end Sept. Album will be ready by Nov. Don't know why it takes so long. Think it's a right choice to take pictures early :)

My second wedding gift

I met up with Anly today. Had dinner and went to see her new condo. She really has the designer taste on the items she bought but surprisingly she didn't paint her wall with creative colours. I was actually expecting at least 3 different colours on her wall .. :P

She gave me a wedding gift tonight. Actually she told me to collect it long time ago but I was busy and lazy to go. So here it is ...

My dear friend Anly and ah sa, I don't know why you gals always can't remember my honey's name ... (not like I change every year .. lol) His name is Ooi Teik Siong. But ah sa managed to remember it after about 5 years .. not too bad .. better than Anly :P

This gift is sweeeeet. Thanks Anly!!!!

Pre Wedding Photos Shooting

We woke up early on Saturday not because our shooting is early. It's because we can't sleep .. haha. We reached Casamia at 11am and the makeup started immediately. The makeup artist Penny acted very pro and asked a lot of questions on my preference on style. So I told her what hairdo I want and she said no problem :D

For the first makeup and hairdo we forgot to take picture using my hp coz once I got ready then they rush us to take indoor photos already .. Nothing much about indoor. It's just some scenes outside the studio (yes at the roadside and darling has to re-park his car otherwise his car will be in the pictures too ..)

But I manage to take some pictures for the outdoor hairdo coz we were lepak-ing at the studio waiting for the photographer Wilson to take his lunch. So this is how we look:

Our outdoor shooting location is at Sepang Bagan Lalang. It's on the way to KLIA then follow the LCCT route then I don't know d .. coz ... coz I fell asleep. (You can actually sleep with the super makeup and hairdo? Yes I can :P)

The place is nicer than I imagined. It has trees, a mini golf course, beach, hut and etc. By the way the weather in the afternoon is very hot. It was drizzling in the morning but lucky weather got well in the noon. Too hot actually. Haha. Eye cannot open :(

The photographer is quite good and he told us how to pose all the time. Look up, look down, chin up, don't blink your eye, hand up, shoulder go right. We just follow his instructions. Don't know our poses look kaku or not? Can't wait to see it.

We waited for the sky to turn dark and then took somemore pictures. By the time we reached SS2 it's already 9pm. So we had dinner at Lorong Seratus with my super makeup and casual wear. Weird ... But I guess they have seen it before coz there are so many bridal studio at SS2 ... surely others do that too .. eh?

Overall the experience is good. We are happy with the shooting and everything turned out well. But their appointment is so full that we can only see and select our pictures on the 30th of July. Can't wait ler ...

Hey almost forgot this joke. While we are doing our makeup, the girl who does the makeup for darling came over and said "EH Whose husband is that???? I said I am going to put lipstick on him and he said OH SHIT! Haiyo!!!" LOL ~~~~ Darling, you look okay with lipstick ... LOL!!

Finally, a comment for Xiao Wen. Yes the silicon bra will fall out if you sweat extremely a lot ...

Preparation for pre-wedding shots

I met up with Mel today. Mel is looking good and kai jai Cameron is looking handsome. I got a barney for Cameron and I hope he won't dump it aside when he is back to UK ... hehe.

I received my very first wedding gift today:

Thank you Mel!!! I like the bracelet and will start wearing it on Sunday ;)

After meeting up with Mel I went to do manicure and pedicure. Goshhhh I stayed at the salon for 2.5 hours. Tiring ~~

The manicure and pedicure cost RM 60. Then RM 15 for the flowers, RM 15 for 21 diamonds, and RM 10 for don't know what volcano oil to scrub my foot ... So total RM 100 for this work:

Frankly I didn't really like it at first. Now seeing it again and again and again, OK lah not too bad. But I really don't like my toenail .. forgot to take picture and now I scratch one of it already. Too busy jaga-ing my fingers and forgot my toes ... Sienzzzz.

Gown fitting - missing part

I must be very tired last night coz I forgot to write something regarding the gown fitting. When Sam asked me how was the gown fitting only I remember about this ..

The gown fitting experience was pretty disappointing. I thought I have 1 wedding gown and 1 evening gown for indoor. And then 1 wedding gown and 1 evening gown for outdoor. I must have remembered it wrongly coz that wasn't what written on the receipt as well.

Anywayz, I have only 1 wedding gown for indoor and that's the only gown I was supposed to try on yesterday. Why? Because apparently for outdoor shooting, they don't let people to try on the gowns. On the shooting day itself, the makeup artist will choose for me. This is so unreasonable. How would she know my taste and what if no gown fits me on the day?

I was so excited to go gown fitting and end up I was supposed to try for indoor wedding gown ONLY. I can't accept that. I can't accept it that someone choose the gown for me on the actual day, being so last minute and I cannot have my own choice. So I insist to try and finally she let. :D

The choice is pretty limited for outdoor gown. But end up I still manage to choose 2 gowns that I like. Well, it ends up well. So I have learnt that there are a lot of things they claim cannot be done but you must really insist on what you want.

Now, I hope the shooting will turns out well :)

JPN and gown fitting

Darling is on leave today so we went to JPN Putrajaya to submit our registration form in the morning. Well, the place is really far from my place and it was pouring but I think it's worth the effort coz the place is really nice!

The people there are nice too. Very friendly, very efficient, and very helpful. We managed to complete the task in 15 minutes (including waiting time). Then we took some photos around the place.

We will be going for our registration on 15 Aug 2008. Mun will do the dress for me. Yay! On the day she got famous .. hahhhh then I can sell the dress she make for me. Wahaha.

We went gown fitting at night. The experience wasn't so good. Actually it's partially our problem as well. We were supposed to do gown fitting on the 10 of July but we postponed it to today. Then we maintain the date for photo shooting on 19 July. So they brief us the things we need on the shooting day but we have only 2 days to get it! So darling got upset coz he needs a pair of contact lens, a no-glass-frame and a black formal pant. But we got all our problem solved now :)

They don't allow us to take photos so I got nothing to show. Hopefully I can snap a few pictures on the shooting day. I chose a nice and sweet wedding gown and a light green night gown for outdoor shooting. I really like the wedding gown. See if I can post it after the shooting ;)

By the way, gown fitting is tiring. Some gowns I can't breathe with it. Some gowns I can't even zip it. LOL. Am I fat or others too thin???

Shopping day 2

Mun and I went to Sg Wang today. See what I got:

I am not quite sure why I need this but all ladies who got married and also Mun said I need this. So I bought it ... I got this in the cheapest boutique in Sg Wang for RM 19.90.

After that we shopped for accessories at Sg Wang but there is no nice and cheap one. With cheap I mean less than RM 200 for a set. All those that we think look okay (look okay only, not stunning) are much more expensive than that. They are only stones .. now only I know it's not cheap ...

There is also no nice shoes at Sg Wang or Isetan so we decided to go Charmaine at 1U. I heard they have very nice wedding shoes collection.

So they really have nice collection there and I bought this:

This is the most expensive among all those I see and like so far. RM 243. NO discount.

We went to Jusco after that and have tried on a few necklace. There is a nice one cost RM 198. Then I tried on the other one and it looks stunning! It's really nice and somehow the earlier one don't look nice anymore :P But this one cost RM 398 :(

I think this is the fair and reasonable price for this kind of accessories but I really don't feel easy to pay this price for the accessories. Now, let me think who to sponsor me this ... LOL.

Shopping for shoes and accessories

We went to MV to shop for shoes and accessories today. Can you belive it that we saw 3 pairs of nice shoes and all 3 of them have no size 5? :( Of this 3, the pair from Lewre is the most expensive one .. RM 550 but with 50% discount. I thought over the dinner and decided to buy it but was told no more size 5. LOL. The pair at Isetan is very nice and cheap! But .... *sigh*

I also like a pair of working shoes from Nose. And guess what? No more size 5 also ... apa lah.

For accessories there is nothing special we see today. The expensive are nice but it's more than 4K. Those normal one, normal price, normal design lor. So end up we didn't buy anything today. Spent few hours walking and have nothing ... tired man. Kaki mau patah d.

Will go shopping again with Mun on Tuesday. Hopefully can get something :D

Finally :)

So as you can see from the previous post, step 3 has finally happened. ;)

He came my house last night. Then as usual I keep on talking but he seems quiet and weird. Then he asked me to check out the blog for his latest post. So ... there it is ... It really surprise me coz I have never expect it to be this way. (Standard way is at restaurant with flowers and ring)

Then he kneel down and bring out the ring ... then I said yes. Then tears came out from nowhere and I started crying .. :P Sunet told me about her experience before. She said you don't know why you cry but you will cry one lor. Haha so she is right :D

Hehe you might be thinking "that's all he do ah?" but to me, it's sweet, it's surprising, and it's lovely :)

Pre-wedding depression

I think I might be having this pre-wedding depression. See, I got very bad gastric lately. For almost 3 weeks already. Then I had migraine the other day. Then I got fever and cold over the past 2 days.

Worst thing is, I had a nightmare last night! I dream of my "chut moon" is over but I didn't feel or remember any part of it. Then the dinner was a nightmare coz 4 host were sharing the same restaurant and it got very messy. Then all my wedding gowns were so ugly and not fitting! Then my make up artist gone missing before my dinner start so I cannot refresh my make up and adjust my hair. It was 830pm and we still cannot find her. Then somehow the next day we have another dinner and she called to say she accepted another job so she won't be doing the make up for me. Refer me to others at so last minute.

Eh ... I think i worried too much. LOL.
